Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit is recommended for use with two and four stroke engines and is ideal for seasonally used equipment.
It is for keeping fuel fresh and protects engines more than ever before, even during long periods of storage.
Not only does Fuel Fit keep the carburettor clean for easy starting, it now also protects against the corrosive effects of ethanol and maintains fuel stability for up to three years!
250ml bottle of Fuel Fit will treat up to 25 litres of unleaded fuel. Suitable for use with E10 petrol E10 Fuel should be consumed within 30 days where possible for small engine performance

Petrol sold in UK & Ireland is an E10 fuel ( contains up to 10% renewable ethanol. )
These means that the dosage of Fuel Fit should be increased by 25%.

Briggs & Stratton overhead-valve and side-valve engines can both use up to, and including, 10% ethanol
petrol.
Always use clean, fresh, unleaded petrol with an octane rating of at least 77 for side-valve engines or at
least 85 for overhead-valve engines. We recommend the use of Briggs & Stratton Fuel Fit petrol stabiliser,
Order No. 992380 (100 ml) or 992381, (250 ml) to keep fuel fresh for up to 3 years. When using E10-95
petrol, the dosage should be increased by 25%.
Buy fuel in quantities that can be used within 30 days. This will ensure that the fuel is always fresh and that
the volatility of the fuel matches the season. Do not mix petrol with oil.
NOTE: We recommend NOT using petrol containing more than 10% ethanol (E10) blend and this MUST be
removed from the engine before storage. Methanol-containing petrol must also NOT be used.
